Hi,
I've got some electrical problem with my Electro 35 - it doesn't work, battery check is not working either. I've checked the battery wires and it seems to be O.K.
I have discovered that when I press battery check button, there is current (from battery) more than 250 mA. I think it is more than it should be.
There is also only about 4 ohm resistance between + and - battery terminal when battery check button is pressed (with battery disconected).

Does anybody knows what can be wrong ?

Thank You.

P.S. I'm looking for wiring diagram of Electro 35. I've got one, but it's for Electro 35GS and it seems to be different in battery test circuit.

I don't think there is much difference in the battery test circuit. The circuitry itself is located beneath the bottom plate next to the battery cover. The p.c. boards look slightly different on different models but the circuit seems to be very similar.

However, I don't think 250mA in test mode are normal. I think the current should be in the range of the current drawn by the indicator bulb which is around 30mA.
