Hi All, I need to remove the front of my KX to investigate a problem with the mirror (it's very slow to flip up if the camera hasn't been used for a couple of days). I've had a Spotmatic apart before but am concerned about the depth of field / mirror lock-up assembly. Does this have to come off, and if so, how? Apparently on the K2 there's no need to remove either the MLU, DOF or DA assemblies, but I know the K2 and KX are very different animals. Also, can I remove the front without taking off the top, as I can on the Spotmatic, and what happens with the "Judas" window? A lot of questions, but any answers and constructive advice would be much appreciated. Best wishes, Steve Roberts Plymouth, England. |
