Olympus A11 flash (XA)

Glad to find this wonderful resource. I just got an Olympus XA with the A11 flash. The flash experienced battery leakage. I want to disassemble the flash to clean it. I cannot determine how to take it apart even with the removal of the two visible philips screws. I do not want to force it and break the housing. On the side of the flash where it meets the camera,there is a small rubber strip,remove this strip and You will find 8 screws.Only remove the 4 screws on the left side and You should be able to open the flash.
