Hello,
I have an old canon AE1 that won't fire at all. No matter what shutter speed is chosen or how new the battery is, the shutter simply will not move. Any ideas? Thanks, Pat

Hi Pat
you could try:
Clean the battery contacts.
Remove the top and clean the switch contacts
Check coil for magnet M2
