I acquired a Pentax Program Plus at a auction yesterday, put batteries in it and it fires up, but the only problem I see with it is there looks to be a hazy build up around the bottom of the prism. Is there a piece of glass underneath the prism ? How can I get it cleaned ? |

If it can be cleaned in place, you can reach the bottom surface of the prism by dropping the focusing screen out through the lens mount. 2 screws just inside the lens mount release the hinged frame holding the screen to let it down. If the prism needs to be removed, you'll have to do a bit of disassembly. I have some notes on this stuff that I can send you if you'll email me at |

Wow! Those screws are tiny... I have a very small set of drivers but not small enough.... I'm not comfortable with how the smallest driver fits so I'm going to need to get a even smaller set. Thank You for the tip and offer. I'll give it a shot and get back... Thank You again...... |
