I picked up a piece of equipment and need help identifying it. It appears to be a viewfinder or range finder of some kind. It is about 5 inches long and has mounts for attaching to a camera accessary mount. It has these on two sides so you can orientate the viewer horizontal or vertical. There is no makers mark, just a serial number. The two levers on top marked 15 and 75 activate masks to reduce the viewing area. The knob up front adjusts focus and the smaller one on the back slides a metal piece up and down at the back. The hole in back has threads. A missing piece maybe? I have included some pictures. Any help will be much appreciated.
You guys are great. I would never have figured this out on my own.I have some knowledge of still cameras but know nothing about movie cameras.I bought this out of couriosty and will part with it for my cost. $7 plus shipping. Any one interested let me know. If I haven't heard anything in a week I will put it on E-Bay
