Finally got around to working on my Vito B. It had a squeaky focus, and I needed some photos of the breakdown, as I couldn't remember what I did on the last one, and only took a couple pictures of the dismantled shutter. This one has the helical focus mount, as opposed to the front cell focus version I did earlier. And there were a couple other surprises along the way, such as when I knocked the spring off the top catch on the shutter, and lost the B setting. But it's all documented now on my Flickr page at http://www.flickr.com/photos/7699588@N07/sets/72157628692588885/ Remember to copy and paste the url into your browser. PF |

Beautiful job, Phil. What lens setup did you use to take the sequence? I notice your camera has the Pronto shutter. I have a later model with the Prontor-SVS, with X and M flash synchs and V timer at the top right of the lens base when looking at it from the front. Do you know of any manual or schematics that show the differences between the two shutters? |
