I got a Pentax Winder MX, if I load the batteries and set to S or C, the motor is then activated hence when I pressed the release button, the motor stops. Is it normal? I thought it might be the opposite way around....??? |

I forget to mention that in this case, the camera is not mounted in to the winder. |

It's normal. When you mount the winder on the camera, it will advance as far as it needs to rewind the film and then automatically snap the shutter. Don't worry..it's working correctly. |

Hi Glenn, Thank you very much for your effort hunting and answering this old message. Now I know that I can trust my winder.... Best Wishes, Bobbet |
