I had problems earlier with helical greases. Finally bought S-10 & S-30 from Micro-Tools at insane prices, but they seem to work at least. Helicoids do not bind together anymore and focus feeling is pretty nice and smooth.

So I continued with my lenses but now I don't know how to proceed with the next one - NIKKOR-S Auto 1:2 f=5cm from around 1960, 9 aperture blades.

How to dismantle the helicoids... Does the front of the lens need to be removed (the name plate & chrome part)?

Or the 2 screws keeping the brass thingy in place?

Or maybe the 4 screws visible in lowest picture?

I have a feeling that the 2 screws in middle picture are the key, but they are very thin slotted screws and so very tight..

Thanks in advance!
