I recently purchased, for just $20 on Craigslist, a very fine example of the Hi-Matic 7. It cleaned up very nicely, I installed new seals, and it works great accept for one persistent issue. The winder lever will not return on it's own. You can push it back every time after winding, and it works fine, but I really want it to work how it's supposed to.
I found an article with a step by step solution to this issue recently on the web, but now I can't find it. I did a search here, but to no avail. Any ideas?
Also, if it helps, I have a really decrepit Hi-Matic 7s for parts if needed. |
