I have a Super Ikonta IV and would like to re-color/re-new the silver "Super Ikonta" marking on the front door. Anyone know a good way to do this? Thanks Ken |

Try an arts and crafts shop (or online). Look for something call silver carbon paper (or, at least, that is what it used to be called years ago). Rub on silver. Nice. |

Thanks. Will visit Michaels and look for such an animal. Funny - I joined this site back in 07 and posted numerous times. Now I'm a new member. |

Everybody is a "New Member" since the last site update. And you were probably archived, so no postings having been recorded since then put you back at number 1. PF |

I have a Super Ikonta III with the same faded Zeiss logo and camera name on the leather. The problem is that they don't appear to be de-bossed on the leather and it looks like you/we need to draw the designs back by hand. Any updates on your success with the silver carbon paper? I'm looking with envy at some gorgeous ones in great condition on the great big auction site. |
