I have just stripped my first camera down which is a Pentax ME Super. I am in need of the plastic lens that the prism sits on or a complete unit as it became contaminated with the black seal that deteriorates and some idiot went to clean it (yes it was me many years ago before I knew better). I came across a site by Gordon stalker which with this site I am using as a bible so to speak in the repair but there are still a few gaps in my knowledge which I would like a bit of advice on.
1. The seals inside the camera does not seam to get a mention with regards changing or sizes or how to make them
2.What is the best glue to use to stick them in place as I do not want to do this job again if I am successful this time
3.Any advice you can throw at me about the rebuild, parts, how to make parts etc etc please don't be shy and give me the benefit of your knowledge I assure you it is more than welcome. Stephen |
