Kodak Special Six-16 shutter jammed

Posted on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 - 10:38 am:        New to the forum and this camera my first foray into vintage folding cameras. The "exposure lever" as it is described in the manual was initially stuck in the down position. Eventually I was able to jostle it into the opposite position and activated the shutter successfully through 5 cycles. Now stuck in the "up" position and determined to stay there. Posted on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 - 10:35 pm:        You will have to identify the shutter type, eg Compur, Kodamatic etc. Does the exposure lever refer to the shutter release lever or the self timer lever. Some-one will be able to help if we know these details. Photos always help.
