Hello! I have an old Minolta 9000. I used it a couple days ago and found that it has some kind of shutter problem - in 12 exp. film only 2 frames were exposed. that means the gap between shutter curtains won't open in most cases. As I can see, there's a problem with one of two curtains in the shutter, in the rear one (the one which is towards the film, not the lens) more specifically. When I advance the lever, "Front" curtain lifts up, so does the rear one, but when I press the shutter, both curtains fall at a same time which means there's no opening between them to capture an image. There are no decent repair services here in my country so I either have to do it on my own, or just throw the camera away (which I do not want, because I love it). Maybe someone could share their knowledge here. Any help is appreciated. |
