Nikon AF-300mm broken frame for bayonet.

Posted on Thursday, October 11, 2012 - 01:07 pm:        I have a Nikon AF-300mm ED lens where the frame that the bayonet is mounted on is broken. At the moment the mount is fastend with three of the six screws that are supposed to be there and all on the same side. Posted on Thursday, October 11, 2012 - 01:39 pm:        Forgot to mention that it is the f2.8 version. The big heavy lens. The image attached shows a similar lens where the same part is broken. The broken off part is supposed to be where the red ring is. The grey aluminium frame taht is missing a piece is replaceable. This one is the one I am looking for.
