Hi Guys, been collecting old cameras for a while now and got hold of a beautiful Minolta Uniomat yesterday for around $10. But... It has some serious mold on the rear lense element inside the lense so I cant get it out to clean it.

I'm useless at repairing fixed lense Rangefinders and just cant seem to figure out how to get the lense off for disassembly and cleaning.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Barry

If it is the rear lens, open the camera's back, look in there. There will probably be a set of notches opposite each other at the edge of the lens. Use a lens wrench to remove the lens and clean it. Be sure to remove the lens using the innermost pair of notches. The shutter may be held in by a similar ring.
