hi there.. i have just found one a Dacora super dignette 1:2.8/45mm pronto LK in a charity shop which i would like to use, but im not quite sure how ? I have given it a clean and rewound the film that was left in it.. ( that could be interesting).. but looking for a manual on the web has come up quite costly. anyone able to offer some advice on getting to know how to use this camera and to check if its functioning as it should, for example how to check if the light meter is working and if the aperature blades ae ok or sticky?
looking forward to giving this camera a go and it would be great to see some sample shots if anyone has any
To check the light meter point it at a light and look at the meter's dial then put your hand in front of the meter cell and see if the needle moves. To see the aperture, set the aperture dial to "16" and the shutter to "B". Press and hold the shutter release. Look down into the lens. Keep holding the shutter release. Move the dial off of "16" and back to "2.8". Does the aperture move? Is it oily?
In general set the aperture to "11", set the shutter to "100" or "125", load a roll of film that is iso/speed 100. Shoot photos.
