Leather = Elmer's White Glue or Elmer's School glue (any white glue). I used to use Ross since it was made in Canada but, when it started to be made in China, the formula changed and I didn't care which brand it was. Ditto for Elmer's.

Vinyl = contact cement.

Rubber bands help holding things together until it dries. Or, sometimes, those big clips like hold potato chip bags closed.

Zombicams: the type of clothes pins with springs can come in handy too, for clamping all kinds of things, and they're cheap.

I use a brand called "Feviquick". It is an epoxy in liquid form quick drying and holds the seams fast. Visually it is almost imperceptible.

It's not a seam, but anyone know of a company or craftsman who might be able to redo failing leatherette on a case? I have a case for my Contax 139 that is custom fit for the camera and motor drive... the leatherette is totally shot on it. It is an official Contax case but I've never seen another one, so I can't just get a new one.

Instead of white glue, I'd use bookbinder's glue for leather. Why? It's flexible.
