Here's another long shot, I was recently given a Ilford Sportsmand 300 SL, a rebadged Dacora Dignette 300 SL. The shutter was stuck (self-timer) but I got that working again with very little effort. But the other problem is the film advance. Cranking the lever I see and hear the gears slipping connecting to the take-up spool and the sprockets. I've taken the top off, I've taken the lens-housing/shutter off. I've taken the bottom off. The problem is...I can't seem to find how to dismantle the darn lever and gears. It looks like the lever is clamped onto the stem of the take-up spool.and I can't see any other way to take it off (or any other part of the mechanism) Does anybody here have an idea how to strip this thing? Thanks in advance, Rick |

Hello Rick, I have the same problem with my Sportsman RF. I tried first to disembling a simple Dacora Dignette. Didn't work. You haven't found the solution? Kind regards, Ad |

Not yet, the camera is currently in an 'On Hold' box with a Zorki I and a couple of Perfex 55 cameras |
