Because of a recent question on another Forum i discovered that some Gauthier shutters have a 2 character text on the righthandside of the diaphragma scale. Does anybody know if they have a special meaning (i.e. production site, printpad number, type number, flash synchronisation) ? So far noticed : "bt" on the Velio of 2 Kodak 66 Model III folders. "f2" on the Velio of a Zeiss Ikon Signal-Nettar "r1"on the Pronto of a Voigtländer Perkeo I |

Phil, the codes on the 2 Kodaks were the same so yes, i think that there is a link with the camera model. Also had a look at Gauthier shutters on other folders then the ones in my OP but they do not have these texts. If there are users with a Signa-Nettar or Perkeo I could you please have a look at the shutter if the texts are the same as in my OP ? |
