Hi,does anyone know what you can use as a mirror on voigtlander folder, ,I'm not sure what this is called,,it's the eyepiece part you look through, like a Window so to speak,,,half is missing,,does it come in two parts? Only able to see half of subject through it, ,,anyone

First off, one needs to know the model of Voigtlander you are talking about. And a photo of the problem would be great, since you don't know the nomenclature of the parts. After that, it shouldn't be hard to diagnose, and suggest a repair.

You might also want to search the Archives for a similar problem. Maybe someone has already posted a fix for your problem that could pertain to a different camera, but of a like construction. But start off with a search for "Voigtlander", and see what shows up.

If it is the finder you look through to aim the camera, and you look down into it, it is what is known as a "reflex" finder. The mirror inside typical reflex finders is a totally normal mirror, with the silvering on the back, not the front. You just need a small glass makeup mirror and a glass cutter.

If it is front-silvered, you would need to find a front-silvered mirror. Cheapest source is usually a junker Polaroid camera made for the "integral" film (not the older peel-apart film). They all have a front-silvered mirror in them.
