Having a heck of a time trying to local a battery cap for my old Canon F-1 (first gen).

Are any of the battery caps of the other Canon SLRs of the same era as the original F-1 compatible with the F-1?

I had make an interchange and see that the Canon FT battery cap can fit to the battery slot of the Canon F-1n (I think the battery compartment of Canon F-1 and F-1n are identical). Their threads are same, but need to remove the coil spring inside the FT cap. The F-1n already has a flat spring in it battery slot.
