Does anybody know Eugene Pate of LearnCameraRepair.com? He has an enormous collection of repair manuals, Camera Craftsman articles, great stuff for download at $1 a pop.
But I ordered a manual download last week, received an autoreply that they were waiting to verify my (paypal) payment, and nothing since. No replies to a couple of emails. Now I'm wondering if he's okay. |

Generally, he posts articles on Facebook although it has been weeks since his last post. I hope he is doing well too Rick.

Many of the manuals on his site are taken off other sites so search around and you may find what you want elsewhere - for free. He downloaded all my Contax and Yashica manuals that I spent time and money buying, scanning and making PDFs of so I could share them, for free, with others and now he's trying to make money out of them. I've had words with him. He's not a great person to deal with. For anyone who might be interested, for Contax and Yashica stuff check my site first at https://www.contax139.co.uk/documentation

I was looking for the service manual for the Contaflex Super/Prima/Rapid, but I’ve gone ahead and finished the camera now. I’d still be interested in the manual though, if you happen to have it. |
