ihave an old minolta auto cord which works fine except for the focas does not work hopefully you can tell me how to fix it. thanks bill

This is not really an answer (sorry) but the first thing you have to know is DON'T FORCE IT!!!!

Broken focusing levers are probably the one weak point in this otherwise excellent camera.
