hi, does anyone knows how to remove the top of a contax rts? I think that's what I have to do, in order to clean the viewfinder, isn't? thanks!! |

Nope.
You remove the two small screws from the black retainer at the top of the lens opening. Be prepared for the stuff that drops down as it is under a bit spring pressure. After cleaning, make sure you get it back in the same order and check your lens at infinity focus to make sure. |

I have a Contax RTS body which has received major damage to the shutter blinds.I also have a Yashica FR-II which is in full working order apart from the missing self timer lever.My question is will the relevant shutter components from the Yashica fit the Contax.If not does anyone want to buy or swap these camera bodies?. |

Hi Martin-
What is the damage to the RTS shutter blinds?
Many of the FR II parts are the same, particularly in the shutter but you are facing camera "open heart surgery" here. |
