The wind lock has been staying in the released position. I opened the bottom and as per some instructional pages on this website I gently poked some things until I found that the silver armature above the wind lock might be bent up a little too much. I pressed it down just a little. Now the wind lock drops consistently after 5 cranks. Isn't it supposed to drop after about 2 cranks? Any suggestions? |

Update: it's now dropping for every two cranks, but now I'm thinking it should be every one crank? The numbers appear to be moving by two's for each time the wind lock drops. |

No, it should drop every time you wind it. |
