Hi there, I've just acquired a smart QL17, and now I need a hood. The manual says the camera takes a Hood 4. I've seen a Hood 5 for sale, but does that fit the QL17? Anyone to the rescue? |

Yes, it fits. It is the newer version of this hood and the latest I know about. |

Check out a HAMA rectangular lens hood made in Germany. It is 50mm, but you can use a 48mm to 50mm adapter to fit it on. It works great. Does not block the rangefinder window on the G III. I just sold one several weeks ago on eBay, check out sold item # 3842975960. Perfect for G III QL 17.
