I have an Olympus OM-PC and I would like to know what kind of adheasive to use on the reflex mirror? |

most anything will work--there would be some advantage using something that could be disolved if necessary--like Pliopond--if you ever had to remove it. |

I used a product called omni-stick that says it will stick anything like glass, metal, and many other things. I let it set 48 hours before I put the camera together, the first picture I took it come off. Both surfaces were clean, so I didn't know if there was a special glue to use. Repair shop wanted $40.00 to fix, thought I could do it myself to save money. |

I used some simple contact cement on my Ricoh XR-P. Three little dots, each about 1/2 the size of a grain of rice, arranged in a triangle in exactly the places occupied by the original adhesive. It's been six months and it hasn't come off yet... |

Double sided tape works just fine. Glues and adhesives make a mess if the mirror ever breaks again. Tape peels right out, anything else has to be removed with thinners adn physical scrapping. |
