Hi,

My camera, a Minolta XG1, will not turn on. I replaced the batteries and still no luck. I am positive they are the correct batteries, and it worked before this (while the old batter was still charged, at least.)

Any information would be most helpful.

Is the mirror in its normal down position? The electronics turn off as the mirror goes up. Well, not the timing circuit obviously. The electronics turn back on after the mirror comes back down.
