The ASA / shutter speed dial on my K1000 is missing 3 set screws. will this cause me to be unable to change the ASA settings? When I lift the dial and turn it there is no resistance at all and therefore I can't change film speeds. Where could I get some these screws ? Thanks, Gary H |

Are they ALL gone? You might find replacements at Micro-Tools, but you'll need to know the size (probably either 1.4 or 1.7mm). If all else fails, i think i have a junk K1000 body i could pull them out of. rick : ) = |

Thanks Rick, I used three screws from an eyeglass repair kit and I can now set the film speed. The screws aren't the correct length but I think I can get some smaller length screws from an Optician. Thanks for offering the the parts though. gary herchian |

If the screws are too long you can shorten them by file or grinding stone. |
