Hi! I'm trying to remove the top of my Konica FC-1, which, apart from some light leaks (i.e. foam that has deteriorated into black goo), works beautifully. However, the TTL metering does not work at all - it doesn't recognize my X-24 flash, which works fine with my FT-1. I have managed to remove the advance/rewind levers and film speed dial, and have taken out five screws. But I can't remove the shutter speed dial, which I believe is the only bit holding the top on now! Does anyone know how to get it off? Thanks, Povl |

The ring in the center is a retaining ring with a right hand thread: use a piece of masking tape to get a grip on it and unscrew it. rick : ) = |

Thank you very much! It was awfully tight, but it did unscrew eventually... Povl |
