Hello, When rewinding the film, after a couple of turns the winding hub gets stuck. Does anybody knows where to start opening the camera to get to that part? Are there somewhere available disassemlby/cleaning instructions for such a camera? Thanks in advance, Uli
hi Uli If the Fujica st705 is anything like the st 605n then theres nothing much to stop the winder from rewinding film.......just a plastic housing held down by 3 screws and a thin wire clip. Before you look at this area I suggest you check to see if rewind works easily without a film in camera.
Have you checked that the button on the bottom plate, when pressed, is releasing the wind on mechanism. Again this can be checked without a film in the camera. Sometimes this button needs to be held in during the total rewind.
