You will either have to go back in time or to Hong Kong to find the correct battery. It is a EPA banded mercury 625.

Or...you can look at our page https://kyp.hauslendale.com/classics/mercurybattery.html for more info.

Hi, there. I am looking for info on what I'm doing wrong with my Yashica Mat 124 G. Just purchased and used professionally, it's in good nick: save a whole roll of 120 produced blanks. Thinking it was my own ignorance, I put in a new roll and tried the self-timing procedure: nothing, the whol lot jammed, had to pull out film, whereupon a nice whirring sound and everything's ok again. Put in new film, stared into the lens, noticed it wasn't opening, just moving about; again, whirring sound after a time and everything's OK again. Have I bought a dud or am I simply doing things incorreectly? - Fred Johnston PS: I have a manual on lne which names a number of batteries for it.
