My Olympus XA viewfinder exposure indicator indicates 1,5 stop over-exposure in both strong and low light. But the "real" lightmeter seems to work correctly.
The needle moves freely, and moves one shutter stop with each aperture stop.
The repair manual says:
"set the indicator...by rotating the arm"
"When the indicator is on the plus sida as a whole, decrease the resistance value of R202..."
"When the indicator cannot be set...by adjusting the resistance values of R202 and R201, perform the setting by rotating the arm."
I won't touch the resistor, but I don't understand the "rotating the arm"-bit.
There is a screw on the back of the galvanometer, secured with blue-tack. Do I turn this?
But the easiest way seems to be just bending the indicator slightly upwards. Is that the way to go?
