I took the front off a 1954 Rolleiflex (MVS?) to clean the fungus off a lens element. When putting it back together, the tiny screw that holds the shutter speed dial (marked on the front by EV numbers) in place broke-the head sheered clean off it. I've managed to drill out the shaft of the screw but can't find another one to use instead.
Does anyone know what size of screw this is and where I might get another one?

Thanks,
Bruce

If you drilled it out, they why not tap new threads for the new screw you want to put in?

Hi Bruce:

Wish I had one handy to check.... I expect the screw would probably either be a 1.7mm or a 2.0mm, these are the most common sizes. You might be able to find something usable at micro-tools.com .... if you can't determine the size for sure you could just buy some of both (or even a wider assortment) and use what fits.

I have a fairly good set of sketches for the 1954 EVS, but I never took those dials off.
