After a Zoom gear was replaced, and finishing 4 rolls of 36 shot films, the 7th roll failed to advance after the 10th shot as shown in the indicator (LCD). I placed the film in a manual camera to save the remaining shots. Must have been a factory defect, since It had been used only on a few rolls of film before. (probably a total of 40 rolls and 4 batteries throughout its lifetime. Film advance seem to be the problem, there was overlap of several image shots. indicating I was not aware of the problem until too late. yhe multipleimage frame was probably due to the practice of shutting down the Camera after a shot (progress shots in a construction) Am now using a Kodak manual sure shot ($7). Can anyonetell me if my personal Olympus camera will still be serviceable or better replace it wil a digital one. My office will not buy me one. And am thinking of having my own office and buy a PC downloadable (IEEI adapter) digital camera. With my Olympus debacle, Am thinkng of obtyaining a Sony digiCam. |
