Looking for a source for a 32mm push on lens filter accessory that would fit a Yashica A. Also does anyone know if in fact the accessory could then be attached to step-increaser ring to attach a regular screw on filter? |

I know of no commercial adapter of the type you require. However it is quite easy to produce a DIY item using an empty push on mount joined to a step up ring by an annulus of black styrene sheet. The styrene sheet is sold by all model shops and you use epoxy to assemble the parts. I have not used this method for a push on fitting, but have made a number in the more normal screw mounts. They were to allow the attachment of very large diameter special filters to 46/49/52mm threads. This was for scientific work and the stacking of numbers of step up rings would have caused all kinds of problems. |
