This Rollei SL35 has a mirror locked in the up position. I have installed a good 1.3 mercury battery with no luck. Any tips on where to start to solve this problem? I took the bottom plate off,poked around a little bit, but was unable to release the mirror. Thanks for any and all responses.

When mine jammed, it was the Spottie mirror cage released but shutter cocked syndrome. Same cure.
