hi - after removing the top plate from my contaflex II and reassembling i'm embarassed to say i've got a "spare" washer. 8mm with a ~7mm hole. everything works ok but i'd still like to know where it came from. i've put a small pic at http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~merricks/conta.jpg |

That one is a spacer washer, and it is used in the film rewind mechanism. I can look at my notes later. Jon |

that'd be great - thanks Jon. I'd guessed it must be from there, but it doesn't fit over the main spindle that the film rewind knob screws onto, so i couldn't work out where it had come from. |

The notes I've made to myself tell me it sits between the rewind fork and the body...that is I think it sits on top of the rewind fork shoulder. Please check me on that. I don't have the measurements, but I think it is the same one. Jon |
