I have a problem with my shutter. The shutter fires only at sync time when set to speed equal or faster than sync time. When slower than sync it opens, but doesn't close if I still keep the trigger depressed. So, if I set the speed for 1 second, and quickly push the trigger, the shutter will stay open for 1 second, but if I hold the trigger down for 2 seconds, the shutter will remain open until I let go. I've heard about some other Mamiya ZE and ZE-2s damaged exactly this way, so I believe it is a common problem and it is probably of mechanical matter. Can anyone tell me anything about this problem and maybe what is the cause of it? Is this a common problem with other SLR cameras, and can someone who doesn't necessarily repair Mamiya cameras fix it? Mamiya 35mm's are an extinct SLR, and so there aren't many repairers out there. |
