hi- i've just gotten a pentax me super. at first i thought it was a lost hope, but i've gotten the mirror to come down. now the shutter only cocks every every four or five turns. can anyone tell me what i might be able to do to fix it?
it seems like a nice little camera and i would love to try it out. thanks-
Sorry to tell you Lisa - but there is no easy fix for what is a very fine camera but suffering from congealed grease on the mirror-box latching.
Stripping out the mirror-box on an ME Super is absolutely not for a first time explorer. If you were here in Australia I would offer to do it for you. Hopefully someone else on this forum might make you an offer (to fix the camera, I mean ;-))
