This morning I was using a 28mm Carl Zeiss Jena lens on my Praktica BCA and wanted to get a close-up. I don't think I was particularly heavy handed with it, but the focus shot past the closest distance and something came adrift inside. The helicoid just unscrewed, and there's a detached long pin inside which I presume was part of the aperture control system. Has anyone got a repair manual, or had some experiece with taking one of these lenses to pieces, and can point me in the right direction to find out if the lens is repairable or scrap? Thanks in advance. Peter |
