CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT BATTERY TYPE MY SEARS SL-9 NEEDS I LOST THE BATTERY AND MANUAL AND NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO PUT IN THE CAMERA.

Are you sure it needs a battery? The Sears SL-9 is a re-badged Ricoh 35 Flex, which had a selenium meter and therefore didn't need a battery. If the meter is unresponsive, it may be that the selenium cell is dead, and there's not much you can do about that.
