Hi, Would anyone know how to remove the shutter assembly on a yashica-mat (luxamar lens) from the front plate? The "view" lens can be unscrewed, I can remove the "taking" lens but I'm stuck with the shutter assembly and the front plate. I need to access the blades... Thanks in advance! |

if you have the front plate that the shutter is mounted removed from the camera body, look at the back side and you will see a tube/cup that surrounds the rear lens element. This is a retaining nut--unscrew it with a suitable spanner and the shutter will be free. |
