The meter stopped working, and I am struggeling to take the top plate off to be able to inspect the cables and parts underneath. I can't figure out how to remove the advance lever to be able to do this. Any help apriciated. |

On the ST705W (the motor drive version) the wind lever stays with the top plate. The ST705 might be the same. |

Thanks for the tip, but I'm sorry to say that this does not seem to bee the case on this model. Everything else holding the top cover is loose except the lever, which is quite rigid. I have also tried taking off the bottom plate and unfastened the screw on the bottom end of the rod that seems to connect to the lever, but if this is the way to go, there must be more that needs to be unfastened... |
