This may stretch the definition of "classic" just a bit, but has anyone ever worked on one of these monsters? I've come across one that works in every respect except that the left hand shutter release button is reluctant. I'd like to fix that if I can do it safely but I don't want to risk losing an otherwise good camera over a left hand release that would probably never be used anyway.... rick : ) = |

Rick, I used a couple of these for certain jobs. I am pretty sure our old camera tech purchased them, plus all bits and pieces including a very large repair manual/file, when department went digital. I have sent him an email asking for advice, will let you know in due course if he can help. I do not remember them giving any trouble whilst they were used and my company purchased them second hand from the Rollei distributor. They are definitely classics in my book Glenn. |
