Sometimes it fires, sometime it doesn't... but it always fire by pressing the test button. What could it be? the synchro cable? the synchro plug on the flash side? Any idea? thanks francesco |

Micro-Tools do a very useful little tool that trues up and sizes PC plugs and sockets. Works on even those really sloppy ones. |

If you can dismantle the flash's hotshoe, check for dirty, corroded or oxidised contacts inside the flash's hot shoe. I have had two minolta 132PX's? with these symptoms. Both were fixed by stripping the flash's hot shoe and removing the oxidation I found. |
