Hello This is a simple, and probably very naive question. I have a Pentax ES2 that I have had in a cupboard for a couple of decades, forgotten and un-loved. I re-found it today. There are no batteries in it - it takes 4. Can anyone here tell me what batteries to buy so I can see if it still operates? Thanks Anthony |

Hi Anthony, Four LR44s should get you under way. The more expensive silver SR44s will last longer, but just to see if it's working I would go for the cheap(er) solution. I have an ES2 and despite being a little battered (the camera, not me!), I really enjoy using it. Although a little taller and heavier than the Spots, it has that classic Pentax feel and mine gives very good, consistent results. Wish I'd had one from new. Steve |
