First time poster. I did the repair of the "pad of death" but I seemed to have a problem. I now have the light come on and the shutter goes but only at 1/500th (or so it seems) the reason I suspect this speed is that when I turn the ring to B the shutter does not stay open if I hold the shutter release down. Is there something that I disconnected that I didn't reconnect that is making it so the shutter speed has lost control? Thanks for any help Jordan |

Thought sb else would answer, especially the electro 35 enthusiasts (which I am not). Whenever I open an "electronic" camera with an electromagnetic shutter (Y el 35, Petri Computor, Ricoh 35, Miranda Sensoret) I clean all the contacts accessible in order to remove all the grime that may have settled on them over time. Make sure you did not break any wires and if the wiring, notably the one from the battery box, is ok the camera should be working properly, W. |
