I got an argus 75 a few months ago from and antique mall, 15 dollers, not bad. I haven't ran a roll of film through it yet but I noticed sometimes the shutter would open and close normally and sometimes it would stick open till I wound the film knob again. Now the shutter won't even open anymore. Any help or anyone know whats wrong and how to fix it? Thanks. |

These are simple shutters. should be able to free it up by removing the 4 screws on the lens board, flood the shutter with ronsonal, or WD40
and work the shutter, clean the lense now with Vodka
or good lens cleaner. watch the metal tabs for T/B so you don`t bend them, try cocking the shutter, manually and see if it fires |
